Tel-e-Atrics originally developed its successful product and service model in the Rochester, New York area. Through close ties with a nationally recognized healthcare initiative in Western New York known as Health-e-Access, which was funded to improve health care in schools, daycare and community centers. The Company designed and implemented an innovative web based telemedicine system to support this ongoing program. As the Company entered 2006 , dozens of sites, including schools, daycare centers, group homes, private medical practices, hospital and professional healthcare providers are “tied together” electronically, allowing comprehensive “virtual office visits” for medical care. The Tel-e-Atrics-Connect telemedicine system and implementation services have provided the working infrastructure for over 3,500 virtual office medical visits to occur using the communications capabilities of the Internet.
