TeleAtrics Connect video conferencing is an encrypted, web-based videoconferencing solution designed specifically to meet the needs of the medical community. Our solution is bandwidth-aware, automatically adjusting to the available bandwidth to broadcast an optimal quality image over a secured internet connection.
TeleAtrics Connect™ Pediatrics & Geriatrics
TeleAtrics Connect Pediatrics/Geriatrics versions are individually specialized installations of the TeleAtrics Connect system. In addition to the core set of features, each is tuned to gather a specific set of data to optimally serve a particular demographic.
The TeleAtrics Connect™ core system includes three components: the originating site(s), the health care provider site(s) and the Teleatrics™ secure server.
Originating (patient) Site Products and Services: The originating site (typically at a daycare facility, remote clinic or school) includes the necessary facilities to allow a patient to accomplish a “virtual house call” visit with a health care provider located at a remote location.
- This fully functional system consists of the computers, cameras, electronic stethoscope, software, training and implementation support to enable telehealth visits between physicians and patients.
- The health care provider and patient, while physically separated, are connected by the Internet through high-speed broadband lines (cable modem or DSL services).
- Health care encounters using this equipment consist of two way real-time visual and audio contacts between one health care provider and the patient locations using inexpensive video conferencing cameras, connected to the patient telemedicine workstation.
- Through the use of use of various “attachments” at the patient site, also connected to the telehealth workstation, visual observations (e.g., video clips of an ear canal, images of the eardrum, throat, eyes, or skin, etc.), recorded sounds (e.g., auscultation of heart and lungs) and other measurements, as appropriate to a specific patient, are captured for use and interpretation by the health care provider at a remote location.
The TeleAtrics Connect™ system hardware and software are compliant with the necessary FDA and HIPAA requirements for this type and class of equipment and service.

Telehealth Solution Overview
Teleatrics™ is a telemedicine solution created to enable telehealth interactions between clinicians (physicians, nurse practitioners, etc.) and patients. Telehealth services encompass diagnosis, treatment, and information exchange with the clinician and patient in different locations, facilitated by telecommunications and information technology. The Teleatrics solution provides clinicians and patient groups (childcare centers, schools, community centers, nursing homes, etc.) with an integrated telemedicine package of processes, training, software and computer services to engage in personable and effective healthcare encounters over the Internet. Designed by pediatricians, the Childcare and School Edition of the software is a proven product having facilitated thousands of telehealth encounters. These “virtual house calls” provide timely medical support without the provider or patients leaving their locations. “Convenient Care” and “Senior Care” versions of the system are in development.
